My Professional Development (So Far)
• Teaching saxophone students to further my understanding of teaching students one on one.
•Gave a high school saxophone section a joint clinic with another university saxophone player to practice giving sound advice with a given instrument.
•Attended "teaching FNMI (First Nations Metis and Inuit) and how to bring FNMI culture into the curriculum" during my first professional semester.
•Attended various PD sessions at the university over the lunch hour to keep up my professional development.

•Volunteering for the Lethbridge jazz festival. This improves my people skills and I also get a chance to work with performers of all ages to help them get from point A-B and listen to them rehearse and play. (June 2011-present)
•Attended SWATCA 2013. Volunteered and chaired/attended: More than Data Collection (working with TI calculators), African Drumming (in french), and Global Responsibility with Water (case studies from Africa).
• Attended school PD session '7 habits of Successful people' led by teachers from Senator Buchanan school in PSIII, 2013.
• Attended Lethbridge School District 51 PD Day, October 15th, 2013 and attended flow yoga (WHIP incentive) in AM, and Creating Effective Behaviour Plans in PM.
